Gerard Sylvester is an experienced digital agriculture professional, with a multidisciplinary skill set and, over 15 years of experience in international development. His expertise is on the use of emerging technologies to address developmental challenges, and has worked with/in several countries and institutions in Asia, Africa, Near-East region and the Pacific island countries. He focuses on building human capital on sustainably identifying, designing and implementing digital technologies for agriculture and rural development. He continues to provide technical support and expertise to IFAD, ADB, IaDB, UDB, EBRD and the World Bank on projects related to digital agriculture.
