Walter Ge holds an EMBA degree at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and MA degree at Beijing Normal University. He is the Founder of Green Startups, the pioneer platform for green innovation and entrepreneurship in China via its hybrid model of “acceleration + impact investing”. It helps early startups with an environmental to overcome barriers and to sustain development. In late 2016, Walter began to work for Asian Development Bank as a consultant for Cleantech Network. In this capacity, he jointly launched the China Cleantech Nexus with other partners to promote the building of the eco-system for cleantech startups in China. In 2019, he started the Green Leaf Ventures to invest in sustainable agritech startups that increase the efficiency and resilience of existing agriculture systems to meet the interlinked challenges of achieving sustainability, ensuring food security and addressing climate change. Walter holds an EMBA degree at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and MA degree at Beijing Normal University.
