The Food and Agriculture Organization is inviting all agrifood businesses and startups from the Pacific, Maldives and Timor-Leste to apply for the Agrifood accelerator 2022.
All applications must be written in English and submitted by 15 October 2022 at 11:59pm (GMT+13).
Join us in Apia, Samoa for the major regional accelerator of 2022!
The Agrifood accelerator 2022 is an initiative by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Subregional Office for the Pacific Islands aiming to support and scale up solutions of existing agrifood startups, businesses, and social entrepreneurs from the Pacific, Maldives and Timor Leste. Only 16 teams will be selected to receive a financial seed package, hands-on training, networking opportunities and more!
Attend a 2-week capacity-building programme filled with exciting activities. For the first week, a virtual launch kickstarts the event on November 14-19 while getting onboarded to Apia, Samoa and getting a chance to meet with fellow innovators and mentors locally and worldwide.
By November 21-23, you will be in an in-person training and mentorship with worldwide experts in the agrifood industry and build connections with fellow SIDS innovators. You will also receive a financial seed package to help maximize your impact.
Lastly, the programme will culminate on 24 November with a final pitch event, where you get to showcase your innovative agrifood solution to a panel of judges.
